Crawford Lake Conservation Area

Visit the unique park of Crawford Lake Conservation Area and enjoy tons of activities no matter the time of year. Learn about First Nations history and explore the Iroquoian village. This will allow you to imagine what this park could’ve been like 600 years ago. There is even a small gift shop with coffee and lots of souvenirs to take home.

Choose between multiple trails for a nice hike during any season, but it’s especially stunning during the fall when the leaves are changing. When you hike to the Nassagaweya Canyon Lookout, you will find the perfect fall views over the Niagara Escarpment. In the winter, there is cross-country skiing and moonlight snowshoe hikes. The lake freezes over and looks magical among the snow-covered trees.
